NIKE BASKETBALL CAMPS TEAMS UP WITH JULIAN KRINSKY CAMPS & PROGRAMS AT HAVERFORD COLLEGE

Villanova BasketballGMI.jpgNike Basketball Camps of US Sports Camps and Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs (JKCP) have teamed up to offer a summer camp experience like no other - combining sports instruction and academic courses located on the beautiful and prestigious Haverford College campus. JKCP has been providing educational summer programs, classes, and activities for over 40 years and will, for its first year, join forces with Nike Basketball Camps to offer four weeks of combined basketball training, educational enrichment courses and fun on and off-campus activities.

Nike Junior Golf Camps Opens New Locations at Villanova University and Haverford College in 2018

nike_golf_joining_jkcp.jpgNike Sports Camps recently reached an agreement to operate golf, tennis, soccer and basketball camps with the Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs (JKCP) staff at two prestigious home universities, Villanova University and Haverford College. JKCP has been in business in the Philadelphia area for over 40 years, providing intensive instruction in academics and sports programs. Under this agreement, Julian Krinsky Camps will now run Nike Junior Golf Camps at their facilities for day and overnight participants.

Julian Krinsky USTA MIddle States Hall of Fame Induction

Over the last 40 years, Julian has turned his passion of playing tennis into a successful business with a mission of helping kids learn, grow and succeed. The ability to create life-changing experiences and inspire the leaders of tomorrow is what has driven Julian from the very beginning, and continues to motivate JKCP todayOn October 19, Julian was inducted into the USTA Middle States Hall of Fame, an event that takes place every two years. The USTA Middle States Hall of Fame supports junior tennis programs and activities as well as furthering tennis education objectives in the Middle States. The purpose is to recognize individuals who have made significant achievements and contributions to the sport of tennis. Huffington Post wrote a great article acknowledging this years inductee's, which quoted Hall of Fame Chair Lance Lee saying, "This class has accomplished some truly amazing feats in our tennis community. All four of these individuals have made a substantial impact on our sport and on the USTA community as a whole. They're a truly deserving group."

Adventures of the Black Squirrel: From Haverford College and Beyond

Hey Everyone!

For those of you who don’t know me, I am Haverford College’s (unofficial) mascot – the Black Squirrel. The College has always been known as the Fords. However, in the 1980’s I came into the picture when the baseball team noticed a bunch of my ancestors on campus and saw us to be a great representation of what their team and college stands for – unique, energetic and hard working individuals.
