You’ve heard it before: Generation Z will be different. The generation admires YouTube celebrities who’ve acquired fame and fortune through monetizing their channels and entrepreneurs who’ve made a good living from one big idea. Gen Zers have grown up in a time when technology is a tool instead of a toy and when peers — not elders — are their mentors.

Parents of teenagers are constantly having difficulty trying to get children who are reluctant to study to actually study. This also applies to teachers – it is even harder for them to motivate an entire classroom of teens.
Technology has leaked into all aspects of our lives, and for some young people, it’s always been that way. Generation Z kids were born with smartphones in their hands and computers on their laps, and might have a hard time imagining life without technology at the forefront.
People often confuse coding and programming and use these two terms interchangeably. Let’s just get this out of the way now — they’re not the same thing, and in fact, they are quite different.
Generation Z, from a cultural perspective, is clearly different than those that came before them, but did you ever consider how the world they’re growing up in and the technology that surrounds them shapes the way they learn?
