“Wow, this is hard.”
“Wait, what am I thankful for? I’m not quite sure.”
“Can you tell me what to say?”
…
Thanksgiving is a time where most Americans take a moment to reflect on what they are thankful for – but is this always true? Throughout life, it is very common to get excited for stuffing your face with massive amounts of food, wearing stretchy pants to the table and binge watching football games. But is this what Thanksgiving is truly about? A day meant for counting our thanks and spending quality time with loved ones, Thanksgiving can be easily overlooked by the extreme savings and early store openings. It seems as though corporate America has commercialized the Thanksgiving holiday.
To get away from “Corporate Thanksgiving”, Julian Krinsky Camps and Programs wanted to take a second to reflect. We took a step back from our desks, closed out of our emails and reflected on what makes us happy, what milestones we reached this year and who keeps us going.
Now, we won’t say coming up with what we are thankful for was easy. It took time, deep thought and patience, but we did it. Every answer is so unique and individual to the person. Through this video, we hope you learn a little more about JKCP’s team members and what is special to them. Happy Thanksgiving!
