At JKCP, we are very proud to bring premiere High School summer programs to three of America's top colleges. Recently, Forbes released their list of America's Top Colleges. "This ranking counts what matters," they say as they describe the criteria for populating the most recent version of this list. The 2014 rankings consider student satisfaction, graduation rates, career success and student debt.
While Haverford College comes in at #11 and the University of Pennsylvania is #12, Villanova University remains in the top 100 at #71. All three schools are among the premiere universities in the nation.
Haverford College, ranked #11 on the 2014 Forbes list, boasts an 8:1 student to faculty ratio in a student body of 1,205. 29% of all applicants are accepted.
Penn, a student body of 11,678 maintains its prestigious reputation by keeping it's student to staff ratio down to 6:1 while only admitting 12% of all applicants each year.
Lastly, Villanova, known for its beautiful campus and bustling athletic program, has a 12:1 student to faculty ratio in a student body of 7,100. 49% of all applicants are admitted to Nova.
While Villanova and Haverford reside in two of the nicest suburban neighborhoods in America, Penn flaunts a different feel in the heart of our nation's most historic city. On the main line, Nova and Haverford students can enjoy the history of being in the Philadelphia area, with a little more room to breathe. Haverford's classic architecture gives students the feel for being in one of the nation's top universities, an incredible atmosphere to study. Villanova maintains a modern and outstanding facility, building new venues each year for students to use. Penn, on the other hand is directly in the middle of Philadelphia, giving students a never-ending understanding that this was truly America's first university.
