  1. When did you start playing tennis?

I started playing tennis at the age of thirteen years old. I had played a little bit before by messing around with a racquet but that’s it. At thirteen I decided that was the sport I wanted to do. I would probably say my dad is who got me more and more involved and helped me through the years of my playing career.

  1. What is your favorite board game?

I would say my favorite board game is monopoly.

  1. Which tennis tournament is your favorite?

The best tournament that I enjoy the most is the French Open being on red clay. Growing up on clay I really know what it takes to play on it especially how much more leg work is involved and longer rallies. It is just a beautiful game on clay.

  1. What is your favorite travel destination?

My favorite travel destination I would say is Europe. I love going back to Europe. We have family there and I just love traveling all cities and the history behind it. It is just a different life.

  1. Do you have any pre-match rituals?

I used to such as a bag check and making sure that my bag is ready. I used to definitely jump rope before a match also.

  1. What is your favorite stroke?

My favorite stroke would be the serve. I love my serve; I worked hard at it. It saves me a lot of points in bad times and good times. I really enjoy my first serve.
