Whether it's your body or your life--a good core is important! Every other muscle group is affected by your core so it's a good idea to focus on it.
Keeping your abs in good shape will keep you active and strong. Here are some great ab workouts for you to get going:
-3x20 regular crunches on the ball
-3x20 leg raises
-3x20 lemon squeezes-lay on the floor and tuck knees into chest while lifting upper body off the ground
It's key to go slowly when training your abs and make sure you're pulling in, instead of pushing out. A tip that could help is to place your hand on your stomach to ensure that you are always squeezing your abs tightly at the top of the crunch. With each repetition, exhale as you lift the body up to help contract the abdominal and inhale as you lower the body to the floor.
