Danie Steyn, the Golf Director at Julian Krinsky Camps & Programs, has accomplished another amazing feat in the name of charity. The Hundred Hole Hike is a national golf marathon where participants strive to walk 100 or more holes of golf in only one day.

The goal of the Hundred Hole Hike is to include numerous golfers at various clubs around the country, all walking to raise money for a variety of worthwhile causes. In 2015, 81 golfers raised over $560,000 for 25 causes, bringing the total raised to over $2.1 million over five years.g

Danie achieved 162 holes, which equates to 9 rounds of golf. He completed the hike is just over 12 hours. Danie took around 88,500 steps and walked a total 49 miles! The charity in which Danie chose to support is the Junior League of Philadelphia. According to Danie, his inspirational moment was as he “waddled down the last fairway hurting basically everywhere, it was the faces of people that believed in me that kept me going.”

All in all, Danie continues to push his physical and mental limits in the name of charity. JKCP can’t wait to see what he accomplishes next! Check out this video of Danie on Fox Business Mornings with Maria almost a year ago where he accomplished another goal for charity!
